Although Monika divorced her ex-husband Andrius Šedžius last year, this year the divorce case was reopened on her husband’s initiative. Andrius attempted to appeal the court order because he wanted custody of his son Gabriel not to be attributed to Monika, but to him, but sought nothing.

So just three months ago, Monika could take a break from not having to mention the court threshold. Today, however, the situation is complicated again. Monika says Andrius does not pay the full amount of the court-ordered alimony, so she may have to reapply to the authorities.

“Andrius helps support his son as much as he helped in court. But as much as ordered, he doesn’t pay. I don’t push too hard, but duties are duties. So, it will be obvious what the next one will be like,” says Monika on the show. TV lifestyle show “Everyday Heroes” this Sunday.

Half a year ago, Andrius was outraged because he had to pay a thousand. However, Monika says the amount was fictitious: Andrius, the son of four, never paid more than 200 euros a month.

“I don’t like to talk a lot about money, but it’s a matter of principle,” he said.

Recently, it has been reported in the media that Monika and Andrius are in perfect agreement. Still, the woman of today assures that the journalists did not fully understand her. And she herself did not want to reveal that the relationship with her ex-husband was far from friendly, but only formal. And all this is only for the son.

Andrius and Monika divorced after almost ten years of living together. When Šedžiai’s divorce process began a year ago, many details of the couple’s life became clear: the news spread in the media that Andrius had expelled his wife from their home.
