The team coached by Darius Maskoliūnas played a half unsuccessfully, but beat the Latvian team with a sure result 82:59 (23:12, 26:15, 10:19, 23:13).
The Lithuanian national team won the fight under the baskets 47:32.

The Lithuanian national team showed a very solid defense in 5 minutes and led 7: 3. D.Maskoliūnas’s army got a second breath in the last quarter and after L. Birutis was thrown from under the basket, they crushed the Latvians – 70:51. The Lithuanians scored another 6 points, and their opponents responded at the same time. Our team confidently finished the match, showed good defense and won the result. 82:59.
