A young woman, Gabija Jokubauskaitė, was killed in an accident in eastern England, and members of the Lithuanian community in England turned to their compatriots for help.
The accident occurred on the morning of June 3 on the A605, between the towns of Coates and Marcho around 6.15 pm. a Vauxhall Astra car and a Ford Transit minibus collided.
According to Cambridgeshire County Police, 23-year-old car driver Gabija Jokubauskaitė from Wisbech died at the scene, and the 54-year-old minibus driver suffered serious but non-fatal injuries and is being treated at Peterborough Hospital.
There were no passengers in the crashed vehicles.
