A wound to the neck of a bloody woman who ran into the Iki store in Vilijampolė

On Thursday night, police and medical teams rushed to Vilijampolė when an injured woman ran into the store of the Iki shopping center on Varnių Street.

Police officers received a report of the injured woman at the store at 5:18 p.m.

Witnesses said there was a lot of blood in the store, but that it was cleaned up very quickly.

“An injured woman ran into our store. The doctors were called by someone from the people around because they arrived very quickly. The doctors took the woman away,” said Vaida Budrienė, communication manager of the Iki shopping center, to the kauno portal .diena.lt.

7:20 pm said forensic scientists had just left the scene.

“The store will start operating soon,” said V. Budrienė.

The guard at the Kaunas ambulance station told the kauno.diena.lt portal that the injured woman was taken to the reception department of the Kaunas clinics.

“The woman had a neck wound,” he said.

8 pm The Kaunas County Police guard told our portal that, according to preliminary data, the suspect in the crime had been identified and detained. His aged officer did not say.

“The information is recent, so I can not comment on anything else,” explained the watchman.
