Officials from the Šiauliai County Main Police Station launched a pre-trial investigation for possession of pornographic content.
The investigation was launched after a 47-year-old resident of the Radviliškis district addressed the police.
The woman complained that her 35-year-old partner, Messenger, was communicating with a minor and photos of his genitalia were being sent.
Officials found that the applicant had unmasked the couple after checking his mobile phone.
After opening the Messenger application, the woman noticed that her partner was in intense correspondence with a young woman.
After reviewing this correspondence more closely, the woman was surprised to see that her cousin had sent her genitalia to her virtual girlfriend and she had received photos of her female genitalia.
As a result, an enraged resident of the Radviliškis district turned to the police.
The agents who opened the investigation found that the 35-year-old man had sent genital photographs to the seventeen-year-old girl, who in turn also sent him genital photographs.
During the survey, one person admitted to having reciprocated and submitted photos of their genitals, while another denied having reciprocated and submitted such photos.
Sending genital photos and saving received photos on your phone was treated as removal of pornographic content.
It is sanctioned with public works or a fine, restriction of freedom or imprisonment of up to one year.
By the way, not only the man who corresponded with the minor will have to answer for this crime, but also his seventeen-year-old, who became his virtual partner.
