As V. Filipovičienė explains, she noticed the babysitter on Thursday, around 9 p.m. in the morning. “The kangaroo arrived at the door of the house, as you can see in the photo. We live next to a forest in Greater Riešė, and she has apparently escaped from somewhere. I managed to take a picture of him, but then a gas man came, the kangaroo was frightened by the sound of the car and fled into the forest. I went out to look for her, because she must be somewhere, but we no longer found a kangaroo, ”says V. Filipovičienė.
Concerned about the animal’s fate, she posted photos of the kangaroo to the Big Wrinkle community Facebook group, but says she has not yet received any knowledge of who the kangaroo may have belonged to.
“At first I didn’t even think there was a kangaroo, can you imagine? I don’t have a crude idea where it might have come from. I tried to contact Back to Nature, which rescues animals, but so far I haven’t received any feedback. I think that the hosts are looking for a kangaroo and will find it, but so far no one in our group suspects who it might be. I hope it finds its way home, but if no one finds it, I am afraid it will die, “says V. Filipovičienė.
Last year in Vilnius, Pilaitė residents also saw a kangaroo running around the city, this time escaping from the filming site. Unfortunately, the kangaroo that was not caught in time crashed into a car.
