Currently, COVID-19 patients are usually treated in the main personal healthcare institutions: Vilnius Santara clinics, Kaunas clinics, Klaipėda University, Šiauliai and Panevėžys hospitals.

However, these facilities are beginning to lose capacity: some COVID-19 patients treated at Santara clinics transferred to Vilnius City Clinical Hospital, The COVID-19 chapter has been opened Marijampolė, Jurbarkas, Prienai and Kėdainiai Hospitals and other institutions in the country.

According to an order approved by A.Veryga, COVID-19 patients who need to be hospitalized must be treated at the nearest main hospital. However, if the COVID-19 bed occupancy is 70%. or more, patients are transported to another hospital as directed by the main hospital.

You must have at least 25 beds with oxygen delivery systems, at least 5 beds to isolate patients (pending response to COVID-19 studies), and at least 2 resuscitation and intensive care beds with DPV to treat COVID patients -19.

The hospital must also have the necessary staff (doctors, nurses, nursing assistants) to ensure the proper functioning of the infrastructure (beds).

Patients with mild COVID-19 are treated on an outpatient basis.

There were 743 COVID-19 patients in hospitals.

129 patients with COVID-19 are treated in the Santara clinics, 129 patients with COVID-19 are treated in the Santara clinics, 15 of them in the Resuscitation and Intensive Care Unit.

The Vilnius City Clinical Hospital cares for 81 patients, including 2 in the Resuscitation and Intensive Care Unit.

Alytus S. Kudirka Hospital treats 4 residents and Ukmergė Hospital – 7 residents infected with coronavirus.
