A bloody massacre took place at night near the Ukrainian city of Novoselica. The tenant of the body of water shot seven men who came to fish. A fisherman, who heard the shots on time, managed to escape and ask for help.
It is still unclear why the bloody tragedy occurred. Eight fishermen came to this body of water to fish frequently, claiming to have been good friends with the tenant of the pond. On one fateful night, the nine men drank. Later, six fishermen went to sleep in the barn, and two men stayed with the shooter to drink.
The 58-year-old tenant, who is also a professional hunter, first shot the two men who left with him, and then began shooting at fishermen sleeping in the barn. Only one of them managed to escape.
The shooter was detained by the police and deprived of his weapon. The man will undergo a mental examination and the court will decide if the man is charged. But Ukraine’s deputy interior minister explains that the shooter faces life in prison.
