As reported by the Fire and Rescue Department, on Wednesday at 9:17 pm. The general emergency center received a notification on the emergency number 112 that in Vilnius, Gerosios Vilties str. 1, 3rd floor apartment on fire.
Rescue teams inside removed at least two injured people from the scene of the fire and most of the home was evacuated.
Firefighters quickly began searching adjoining apartments for people, but not all doors were opened.
The fire is said to have been caused by smoking in the room, allegedly poisoned by cockroaches at the time, causing a large amount of diclophosus to be sprayed. True, such a version is unlikely.
