On Wednesday on the Radiškis – Rokiškis highway, officers from the SBGS Pagėgiai border team stopped the VW Passat car with Lithuanian numbers for inspection. A resident of the Rokiškis district was detained. After the interrogation, the man was released into pretrial detention with a written commitment not to leave.
The smuggled car and cigarettes are stored at the Pagėgiai border team.
