It’s hard to even imagine it, but Andrius Repšys has been on the roof of the hotel for two weeks, and what about the weather, which, according to the photographer, didn’t really spoil him?
“I was constantly photographing the Vilnius Christmas tree. The camera took photos from the roof of the Grand Hotel Kempinski Vilnius for almost two weeks.
The weather did not spoil and often the lens blew, it still needed to be cleaned. More than 20,000 photographs were taken, which were then selected and combined, ”says A.Repšys.

Offering Vilnius residents a 2-week construction process of the Vilnius Christmas tree, he also reminded that all safety requirements need to be met during this difficult time.
“I want everyone to stay home safely, because now there are many and all kinds of ways to see a Christmas tree without crowding the traffic jams and meeting in the Cathedral Square,” the photographer wished.
