We recall that Barça asked Zenit and the Euroleague for a postponement of the match after three cases of COVID-19 were identified in the runner-up club in Spain and the entire team was sent to solitary confinement.
The Euroleague could not accept the Catalan request without the consent of Russia, but they did not resist and agreed to delay the match one day; instead of Thursday, it will be played on Friday night.
This will help the Barça team, who have not trained from Saturday to Tuesday, to better prepare for the game.
