Gerda Štaraitė-Barsulienė began working as Advisor to the President in the Legal Group this week. This was confirmed to Elta by the spokesman for the country’s chief G. Nausėda Antanas Bubnelis.
The Presidency emphasizes that G. Štaraitė-Barsulienė has 15 years of legal work experience. Since 2007 she has served as Advisor to the Legal Group in the Government Office, until then she has served as Advisor in the Legal Division of the Customs Department.
G. Štaraitė-Barsulienė has a Master of Laws from Vilnius University and a PhD in Social Sciences from Mykolas Romeris University, and has completed an internship at the Universities of Constanta and Turiba. The lawyer is a member of the Lithuanian Chamber of Mediators.
The Legal Group is led by Senior Advisor Jūratė Šovienė.
