Heat generators are not a common phenomenon in Lithuania, but the recurrence of this phenomenon is increasing due to climate change. From 1961 to 2021 the heat, which covered all of Lithuania, was recorded only in 1994 and 2006. in July.
On June 25, the air temperature in any weather station did not reach 30 ° C, so the heating season ended.
