A man trying to rob a Vilnius shop was arrested by three Polish officials

Three Polish policemen – Mateusz Nowicki, Bartlomiej Majsnerowski, Sebastian Nowak – arrested a thief in the store during his service. On Tuesday, they were presented with commemorative gifts from the nominal capital police.

Vilnius County Police Chief Saulius Gagas thanked his colleagues for not remaining indifferent to the crime and detained the alleged thief.

In Vilnius, on Parodų Street, in a store, the Polish police officers noticed that a man was committing a crime: the latter tried to openly steal 3 bottles of vodka and two packs of coffee. The thief was detained by officers and handed over to the police officers summoned to the scene.

A pre-trial investigation for theft has been launched in accordance with article 178 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania. 2 d.

Colleagues from Poland arrived in Lithuania on August 30 to help police officers in the capital perform tasks related to preventing and deterring illegal migration: patrolling border regions, protecting illegal immigrants and performing other daily tasks to police officers.

Polish police officers arrived with police cars, service uniforms and other police ammunition from their country.
