A total of 15 women and six men died last day.
Most of the deaths, eight, were in the 80 to 89 age group.
Six of them were between 70 and 79 years old, and four were between 90 and 99 years old.
Each of the deceased belonged to the age groups of 30 to 39, 50 to 59 and 60 to 69 years.
Statistics from Lithuania indicate that “the number of deaths in the last day is preliminary and increases between 20 and 40 percent in a few days.”
The general mortality statistics include four more deaths from coronavirus when the actual date of death is earlier.

Of the 8,400 doctors whose workplaces provide services to COVID-19 patients, 101 are currently incapacitated for coronavirus infection and 36 are in isolation.
For other reasons, 588 doctors are temporarily absent.
Due to COVID-19, 308 of 13,152 nurses are temporarily unable to work, 66 of them in isolation.
For other reasons, 1001 nurses are temporarily absent.
