Lithuanian men’s women’s basketball team Coach Mantas Šernius announced the team’s expanded list of candidates ahead of the upcoming European Women’s Basketball Championship qualifiers with the Turkish and Serbian teams. Includes the names of 22 basketball players.

This time, the national team coach was unable to add injured basketball players: Gabija Meškonytė and Laurita Jurčiūtė. However, it contains Karolina Kazočiūnaitė, who was unable to participate in the November tournament due to the COVID-19 virus. The last twelve of the national team will be announced next week.

The Lithuanian women’s basketball team will face the Turkish (February 4) and Serbian (February 6) teams in the qualifying rounds of the European Basketball Championship. Both games will be played at 5:00 p.m. and will be broadcast on TV6.

The Mantas Šernius students are currently in last place in group E of the selection tournament. The Albanian team was eliminated from the tournament and did not attend the “bubble” tournament in Turkey in November.
