The Labor Party won nine seats in the multi-member constituency, with two more candidates fighting in the second round of elections in the single-member constituency.

A.Guoga, who joined the Labor Party not long ago, was entrusted with the third place on the list, but the neighbors raised it to the top, so the businessman surpassed the leader of the list Vigilijus Juknas.

– You broke ahead in the match list, even surpassed V. Juknas. Why do you think you did it?

– People just decided I don’t know. People need to wonder why they ranked so high. I am grateful, it is a great trust, a mandate to serve the people. Nothing else comes out of it, no benefit to me.

– With more than one party you tried to get into politics, with the Labor Party you seem lucky.

– Probably people trust and give opportunities. And it is better to try than not to try to criticize. At least I try, I do, I go and hope to improve even more.

– Does the first place on the list mean that you will also take the lead in the Seimas? Still, the Labor Party will definitely have a faction in the Seimas, maybe you are the biggest?

– Here it is absolutely not my competence, you have to talk to the party institutions that will decide and the people who will be elected. We have to wait for the second round of the elections, help the remaining candidates win an even larger faction, and then decide. I have no wishes for this day, I don’t think about it. The point is what can I do and what value to create for Lithuania, not a publication.

I have no wishes for this day.

– But a publication is a means to do something. In the Seimas, what would interest you?

– I have said that these are places that hurt me, the educational system, for example. It hurts me that not everything is good, I think we pay little attention to innovations, inventions, technologies. It hurts, I care. I’d like to work on that, but now we have to see what will happen in the end.

– Thinking about the portfolio of the Minister of Education, I work in the Government, do you have such ambitions?

– I don’t know, we have to wait for the second round of the elections. For me that area is relevant, I have contributed a lot to education, it is very important to me that our educational system is much better than it is today. I don’t search posts entirely, I just say what matters to me.

– What do you think will be the challenges for you at Seimas? However, he has been elected a member of the Seimas for the first time.

– There will probably be many challenges. Very difficult tasks, I imagine it will be very hard and difficult to work, I will try to do my best.

There will probably be many challenges. Very difficult homework.

– And have you already talked to someone about the support of the party in the second round? Or collaborative?

– Here again, it is not my responsibility, it is necessary for the party president to decide with the council of the presidium. I think it’s too early. I think we’ll all see each other tomorrow (Tuesday – 15min) and let’s talk.

– Will you decide the support in the second rounds centrally?

– I think so.

– And where will the attitude of the Labor Party turn, more to the right or to the left, it is still not clear, you?

– It is not clear and it is not my competence.
