A drunk investigator from the FNTT was removed from office

This afternoon, police officers in the capital arrested the chief investigator of the FNTT Vilnius Regional Board, who was sitting behind the wheel drunk. It was found that he had a drunkenness of more than 2 per thousand. Upon receiving information about the incident, the investigator was immediately removed from his post and an official inspection began immediately, ”the service reported on Facebook.

The FNTT emphasized its regret for “such unjustified behavior.”

“The Service operates in accordance with the highest standards of transparency and morality, therefore, these cases are not tolerated. The strongest possible disciplinary sanction is dismissal,” said FNTT.

The Vilnius County Police Officer BNS reported that the investigator was detained for approximately 15 hours on Ateities Street.

A pre-trial investigation was launched into the incident.
