According to G. Smagriūnienė, the woman who had contacted the police said that she had accidentally hit the dog on the paw, and the latter reacted aggressively and attacked her: he began to drag the woman across the territory.
When the neighbors saw the horrible sight, they called the officers.
“When the officers arrived, the grandmother sat leaning against a tree. He had torn his hand bitten with torn clothing. And the dog ate the hand next to him, ”says G. Smagriūnienė.
According to a police spokeswoman, the woman was taken to hospital.
G. Smagriūnienė realizes that the dog was fed, therefore it is unclear why the dog reacted so aggressively.
Arriving veterinarians said the dog’s behavior needed to be monitored for several weeks, it was locked in an enclosure.
