Next Sunday, the permanent finalists of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) in Vilnius will see for the first time this season what the reorganized forces are worth during the summer.
The match at the Siemens Arena in the capital will once again take place without the chants from “tribune B” – “Rytas” fans promise to continue protesting against what they consider to be inappropriate measures by the LKL and the country’s police.
“It just came to our notice then. There was a fan meeting with LKL and club representatives in February. During the meeting, it sometimes seemed that the discussion was going nowhere, but there were some moments that gave hope. It has not happened. no change since then.
A couple of weeks ago, our club started wondering what to do. Perhaps the initiative was taken too late. Anyone who asks “B Tribūnos” if he will return or if he will be in a match with “Žalgiris” should send this question to the “Rytas” club or LKL. Because they make decisions, send protection and share instructions, “reads the Tribune B account on the social network.
During the confrontation with the residents of Kaunas, the fans of “Rytas” do not promise to return to their rostrum until the club and the fans themselves are punished for singing. Representatives of “podium B” are also demanding that choreographic instruments such as flags or drums be allowed on trips.
We remind you that the Vilnius team (6/0) leads LKL so far, Žalgiris is in second place (4/1).
