A dead woman was found in Vilnius: murder suspected

The report of the dead woman found was received around 8 p.m. In the afternoon. Officers who arrived at the scene found the body and, upon inspection, suspect that it may have been a murder.

A Vilnius police officer on duty at news portal tv3.lt stated that the details are still unclear. Experts are working on the scene, but it is not yet possible to comment further on the event. In 1975, the born suspect is said to have been arrested and is being questioned.

“The suspect, a cohabitant, was detained on Žemaitės Street, and the murder took place on Skroblų Street. Here he is nearby,” said Ramūnas Matonis, a representative from the BNS Police Department.

According to R. Matonis, the suspect, born in 1975, was detained with a stick that hit several cars.
