Leonid Volkov, the head of A. Navaln’s personnel network, posted a message sent to O. Mikhailov on Twitter.
“Insanity.” They are afraid to take Alexei to court, bring Alexei to trial, “he wrote.
Madness.
They are afraid to take Alexey to court, they are taking Alexey to court.
Right now, at 12:30, they have sent a paper to Mikhailova’s lawyer stating that at 12:30 a judge will come DIRECTLY TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT and a “trial” of Navalny will take place. pic.twitter.com/pCiX8ofr5W– Leonid Volkov (@leonidvolkov) January 18, 2021
A. Navalnas himself described the judicial hearing held at the police station as a mockery of the application of the law and an illegality at the highest level.

A. Navaln spokeswoman Kira Jarmyš posted a video on Twitter with a comment from an opponent from the courtroom.
“I don’t understand what’s going on. Just a minute ago, I was taken out of my cell to meet with lawyers. I came here, here is the Khimki court hearing. Some people are filming me, some people are sitting in the hallway. Everything this is called an ‘open hearing’ of the Khimki court, where the issue of my detention is addressed with the supervision of the guards, “Navalnas said.
“I don’t understand why the meeting is taking place at the police. Why didn’t you tell anyone, why didn’t you send a subpoena? It’s simple: I’ve seen a lot of mockery from the justice, but it seems that the old man in the bunker is so scared of everything that he simply broke and threw the Code of Criminal Procedure in the trash. What is happening here is simply not possible. This is a disregard for the highest level of legitimacy, “said A. Navalnas.
Navalno’s attorney said Monday they were not allowed to communicate.
Navaln’s lawyer, Olga Michailova, told Echo of the Moscow radio station that she was not allowed to see her client, who is being detained at a police station near the airport.
“I am not going to be admitted to the Khimki District Police Department,” she said.
Navaln spokeswoman Kira Jarmysh announced on a Twitter account that lawyers for two opposition leaders were allowed to enter the police building, but were not allowed to meet with the client.
Navaln was detained at the Moscow airport on Sunday night when he returned to his homeland from Germany.
The 44-year-old opposition leader returned to Moscow from Germany, where he was treated for several months after trying to poison him. According to A. Navaln, this attempt was organized on the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The politician felt ill during a flight from Siberia to Moscow in August and was later flown by medical plane to Berlin.
Western experts discovered that he was poisoned by the nerve paralyzing substance Novičiok, developed in the Soviet Union.
The attack intensified tensions between the bloc and its eastern neighbor.
In December, Russia adopted “unjustified” retaliatory sanctions against Germany due to the sanctions imposed by the EU after the poisoning.
Moscow announced a travel ban for several EU representatives after Brussels imposed sanctions on six Russian officials.
The EU list included six people close to the Kremlin who, according to the EU, were in one way or another responsible for poisoning Navaln on his charges.
