According to the court decision, all those convicted will be jointly and severally liable for the material damage caused to the victims.

Announced an apartment for rent

The plan to earn money while serving a sentence at the Marijampolė Correctional Center was born to A. Andrešiūnas, who found himself there.

With the help of V. Sukackas, who is also imprisoned here, A.Andrešiūnas placed an advertisement about an apartment for rent in Vilnius on the online advertisement website in late 2018, although the convict had no such apartment.

On December 28, 2018, regarding the rental of the apartment, A. Andrešiūnas indicated to the person who contacted him by phone that to rent the apartment a deposit of 500 euros must be transferred to the specified account. The man did this without even inspecting the apartment that was offered to him for rent.

The former K. Visbergs was in charge of the purification of the “money” transferred to the account of an acquaintance.

A couple of days later, the scammers received another soft call, which, without even inspecting the proposed apartment, transferred 750 euros to the specified account for their rent.

Not all of the defendants pleaded guilty

Encouraged by the success, the scammers placed another ad about an apartment purportedly for rent in Klaipeda. On February 11, 2019, scammers attracted 500 euros from a person interested in renting this apartment.

When the officers discovered the scammers, they behaved differently. A. Andrešiūnas, who denied his guilt during the pre-trial investigation, pleaded guilty in court.

V. Sukackas denied and pleaded guilty both during the pre-trial investigation and in court only by helping A. Andrešiūnas find people to whose accounts the money could be transferred and collected, but did not know that money would be obtained criminally. .

K. Visbergs pleaded guilty. This has only once helped a woman convicted of robbery, who has become a con artist, escape from incarceration.

The other two actors in this case had no hope of being released in the near future: both A. Andrešiūnas and V. Sukackas were sent for the murder for the last time in a long time.

He fatally struck the drinker

Andrešiūnas, who was convicted four times of robbery and causing physical pain, along with Deividas Jaseckis, 25, who was recently convicted of rape and sexual assault but was released before the sentence went into effect, were fatally beaten on April 16. December 2015 in Pakruojis, Pamūšis village

The man of half a century, whose apartment was drunk, was beaten up by drinkers for no apparent reason.

A. Andrešiūnas, holding a bottle of vodka, hit the owner of the apartment who was standing in the kitchen on the head. The blow was so strong that the bottle shattered.

A. Andrešiūnas and D. Jaseckis began to beat and kick the man who had failed to return. When the owner of the apartment tried to escape the attackers, A. Andrešiūnas caught up with him and kicked him to the ground.

Soon after, Jaseckis jumped on the victim’s head and kicked her.

The abused man was taken to hospital, but doctors were unable to save his life: the man died on June 7, 2015.

The motives of the crime remain unclear

D.Jaseckis and A.Andrešiūnas pleaded guilty at the bank, but could not explain why they attacked the drunk and beat him to death.

On 16 May 2016, the Šiauliai Regional Court, after examining the case of A. Andrešiūnas and D. Jaseckis, convicted of murder, sentenced him to 15 years in prison.

Jaseckis was sentenced to 16 years and 9 months in prison after combining the sentence for murder with the sentence previously imposed for rape and sexual assault.

The thief left on the ship became the murderer.

V. Andrešiūnas, who received fraud assistance at Marijampolė prison thirteen times for robbery, robbery and other crimes, was sentenced thirteen times not only in Lithuania, but also in the UK and Germany.

This repeat offender committed a serious crime while on the run after being convicted of robbery in 2016. This time, the court suspended the execution of the sentence imposed on the thief.

Sukackas was sent to serve this sentence only in 2017, when he seriously injured a man who had died after nine months in hospital.

The victims were beaten fourteen times

Until she was knocked unconscious, Šiauliai, 43, was beaten on the night of April 11, 2017.

Later, experts discovered that at least fourteen blows had been inflicted on the victim’s hands and feet on various parts of the body.

The beaten man had eight broken ribs, a jaw, a broken liver, and blood spilled under the hard covering of his head.

After a long treatment, Šiauliai regained consciousness, but did not get out of the hospital bed.

The man died in the hospital on January 8, 2018, due to complications from the injuries he developed.

Committed the crime while drunk

V. Sukackas, who beat the man before losing consciousness, was soon detained by officials.

The suspect, who was behind bars, ducked, claiming that he couldn’t hurt his victim that badly.

V. Sukackas did not deny being drunk during the crime and stated that he did not remember the circumstances of the event.

V. Sukackas, a victim of Šiauliai, who had become his victim, had not met him before.

The hit wallet is gone

A Šiauliai resident who had his own apartment, a car, worked as a car service manager and looked after two minor children, became a victim of the killer by accident.

On one fateful night, this man was cooking barbecues in the backyard with a group of friends.

It is not known how V. Sukackas joined this company.

What this man and V. Sukack crammed into the apartment a few blocks away remained a mystery.

After Šiauliai’s beating, some of his belongings and a wallet containing a 500 euro note disappeared.

The man did not defend himself from the attacker.

According to relatives, the man who was the victim of V. Sukackas was physically strong, but not inclined to violence. Šiauliai did not even defend himself against V. Sukackas, who began to hold him; his hands were not injured.

“He was simply killed in cold blood. Anyone else could have been in my brother’s place.

“It’s scary when you think about it, when the criminals who have to sit behind bars are left loose and you can’t know what will happen to a repeat offender like that,” the murderer’s sister resented in court.

On August 23, 2018, the Šiauliai Regional Court sentenced V. Sukack to 11 years and six months in prison.

Adding a part of the sentence imposed and not fulfilled for previous robberies, the convict was sent to prison for eleven years and nine months.
