For the third consecutive time, the representatives of the fairer sex who complemented the program of events of the Aurum 1006 km racing festival with smiles on their faces and in a very good mood in the morning began the challenge they had. They were also optimistic and ended up on the big race track.
There seemed to be no difficulties, especially challenges, daytime fatigue, enthusiasm for finding hidden checkpoints, and other difficult tasks worth turning around to solve the challenges you faced.
Fatigue was rewarded by far by the organizers chosen as a rare scenic route, the beauty of the Curonian Lagoon and Cape Ventė, the Dreverna small ship port and other coastal areas.
It is no coincidence that this event is also called a rally where there are no losers. And before the start, the ladies at the Women’s Garage called it the funniest challenge of the year, after which there are so many emotions that the crew talks about it and laughs all year long.
But like in any competition where there are no losers, the winners are safe.
The winners of the 108 km women’s challenge with Sonax at the award ceremony were well received by the winners of the competition: the team of Dovilė Gribulienė and Raminta Grigaitytė, who beat the 48-team Vilnius team “Absolutely Normal” with Škoda Kodiag .
Winners received € 150 in Sonax gifts and € 200 vouchers from Virtual Racing, an annual subscription to Palanga Basin and other valuable gifts from sponsors.
Second place was also awarded to representatives of the capital: Silvija Panavaitė’s Garage 2 women’s team, Simona Brazauskaitė, Ingrida Vosyliūtė and Aušrinė Vilkauskaitė, who drove the Audi A3 and outperformed the representatives of the port city: Zumba Ralists with Audi A6 Avant, Ieva Skovron, Sigita Laurinaitienė and Birutė Brasienė.
Kaunas women’s team “No Brakes”, the mixed team of representatives from the capital and Druskininkai “Embroidery Cross” and two other teams from Vilnius “Gazuota” and “TV Assistance” were also in the top seven.
The winner and winners were received and awarded by Darius Jonušis, the main organizer of the Aurum 1006 km race, and Jolanta Iselionienė, the coordinator of the 108 km women’s challenge with Sonax.
