Judge I. In the petition presented to the Court of Honor of Judges, Judge I. Štuopienė, as judge, named the actions of said judges as actions that violate their honor, in various documents (opinions, conclusions), 2016-2018. presented to the commissions that carry out the procedures for the selection and evaluation of judges, 2017. In the conclusion drawn up after the inspection of their activities, the statements on the work activity, professional and personal qualities of Judge I. Štuopienė were indicated.

According to the judge, the statements in the documents prepared by the presidents of the courts were made without any basis, that is, false information that violates his honor, the dissemination of information without foundation is incompatible with the principles of solidarity and decency enshrined in the Code of Judicial Ethics.

” The Court of Honor of the Judges, after examining the case file on the request for defense of the honor of a judge and after listening to the explanations of the judges, found that in the present case there were no reasons to demand administrative actions for part of the administrators of the court (vice-presidents, vice-presidents) important to the post of judge of a higher court, during the inspection of the activities of a judge), the requirements of solidarity and decency established in the Code of Ethics of the Judges “, – says the decision.

The court also noted that the actions of the judges referred to in I. Štuopienė ‘s request were evaluated by the Judicial Ethics and Discipline Commission in terms of compliance with the Code of Judicial Ethics, which refused to initiate disciplinary proceedings. against these judges without finding any sign of violation of judicial ethics.

“There is no reason to claim that the actions of the heads of the courts violated the honor of Judge I. Štuopienė,” said the Judges’ Honor Court.
