Since Carolina had not set a specific due date, she quietly prepared for the arrival of future babies home. One day, she noticed a slight stain, which immediately brought her to the hospital reception for a checkup. “I had to give birth in the Santara clinics, and I went there. The doctor said that it is essential to give birth this week. The children were 34 weeks old, they set a date. Day 9 was my birthday, recorded for me on Day 10. I was ninth and had the tenth surgery, “said the young mother.
Buds are not common, especially during quarantine. However, neither the woman’s husband nor any other close person was able to participate in the joint delivery. “There were no exceptions for me, I thought maybe I would still let my dad get in, triplets after all, but there were no exceptions.” I was alone the whole time. On the ninth day he went to bed and on the 30th he was released. The man could deliver the items, but only when we went to the children’s hospital, “Karolina said.
She admits that she planned to give birth to her husband, but failed. “It was difficult, although I knew the man would probably not let him in. When the man took me, I was alone. Of course, there was a lot of help from hospital staff, especially in the room where the caesarean section was performed. He took care of me and the children. And already in the children’s hospital, as always. It was both good and bad. But it helped if it was really necessary, “said Carolina, who became a mother for the first time.

As soon as she gave birth, she carried the babies. “I didn’t see them, they kept me in the observation room because I had pulse problems. It took a long time. Just the next day I met the children, he took me in a wheelchair, I couldn’t take the children. It was very difficult” , said.
According to her, the most difficult thing was at night. “One had to feed and order everyone and change diapers. Fortunately, the children are calm enough, even though they are angry. In the hospital, they taught them how to feed, how to keep a bottle, how to have a child so that fall, ”said the interlocutor.
Still, it was difficult not only physically but also psychologically. “It just came to our attention then. In Santariškės, a psychologist approached all the mothers, who don’t want to. They talked, they heard how we feel. That helped. I spoke and I really did better,” Karolina said.
Either way, she accepts that it would have been much easier with her husband. “A close person still calms down better than a stranger. But I held on. We communicated with the man through the video camera, for the first time the man saw the children through the video camera,” recalls the woman.
It was not a big surprise that triplets were born, because there were already twins in the family. “My cousin and cousin are twins. I had two girls and a boy: Nikolė, Marija and Markas ”, Karolina smiled.
Now the young family is enjoying the little ones who are already at home. “Everything is easier at home, we both rotate with my husband, so it’s much easier.” The man is not working. And when the decree expires for me, I will go to look after the children for a year, my mother too. All three of us will be on parental leave. “One adult per child,” said the interlocutor.
