When the police arrived at the scene in the village of Jatkantis on Tuesday, they were greeted by a 79-year-old woman and explained that there was an oral conflict with other family members over the inherited property.
When officers explained the circumstances and interacted with these individuals, a double-barreled firearm was observed hanging on the wall in their home and was not marked with a unique number.
The owner claimed that the weapon was inherited along with the house and was considered a relic here.
Upon closer inspection of the home, officers found and confiscated four home ammunition, 25 boxes with bullets, and nine boxes with sheaths for ammunition production and ammunition-making devices. The man did not have permission to keep the inherited items.
A pre-trial investigation was launched into the illegal possession of firearms, ammunition, explosives, or explosives.
