Tel Aviv defender Maccabi Tyler Dorsey found himself in an awkward situation before Monday’s game.

The club announced that the American was subjected to a strict quarantine after COVID-19 infection was detected in the same building.

Maccabi’s closest rivals, Holon’s Hapoel, were involved in the same incident. Uriel Trotsky from Uruguay is reportedly sent to quarantine for the same reason.

In the renewed Israeli league on June 21, Maccabi has won three times in four games. Dorsey, who recently extended his contract to 2022, is averaging 10.7 points and 4.2 rebounds.

Trotsky’s statistics in four games reach 3.3 points and 1.8 rebounds.
