It rained Monday morning in the west and north areas, while it was still dry elsewhere. The temperature ranged from 15-20 degrees. In the eastern and southern districts, it was warmer in the morning and colder in the western districts.

On Monday, the cold atmospheric front will slide through our country. So far, the rain has mainly traveled through the Jurbarkas, Šakiai, Kėdainiai and Panevėžys districts and is moving slowly northeast, meteorologist Edita Gečaitė told LRT Radio. According to her, in the afternoon short rains will be zero in many areas, where thunderstorms are possible. The driest Monday will be on the northwest outskirts and by the sea, as the rain has already passed through these regions at night.

So during the day, at least a few short rain clouds will form here. Then, the cold atmospheric front is invaded by cold air, so in the northwestern part the temperature will rise to 18-20 degrees on Monday, in some places the southwesterly wind will be gusting, reaching 15-18 m / s. This front will reach the extreme east and southeast of the country only in the second half of the day, so the temperature here may still rise to 24-26 degrees Celsius, the meteorologist said.

At night, the rain clouds will have scattered considerably, but there will still be a chance of rain in the southern and eastern areas, but those showers will be isolated and brief.

We will have to dress more warmly on Tuesday. According to weather forecaster E. Gečait the, beach residents are already used to the coolness, so its 17-degree heat won’t surprise, but residents of eastern districts can be cold on Tuesday, because after a Monday warm will only be 18-20, in some places it can heat up to 21 degrees. Tuesday’s rain will be light, more likely in western areas.

On Wednesday the temperature will be between 16-21 degrees, on other days, mainly 17-20, in places up to 22 degrees. The weather will be quite cool.
