Mundo Deportivo journalist José Ignacio Huguet announced on Sunday morning that Z. LeDay, who decided to compete in Italy, would replace Artūras Gudaitis.
“Although Gudaitis has another one-year contract, he leaves the Milan team, where LeDay replaces Lithuanian. The American has an agreement with Armani executives, which will be official when Gudaitis leaves the team,” Mundo Deportivo reports.
Both Z. LeDay and A. Gudaitis have recently been associated with Barcelona, but, according to J.I. Huguet, this team has not contacted any of them, and Šarūnas Jasikevičius’s main target is Jan Vesely, the star of the Istanbul Fenerbahche.
“Vesely is the main candidate to replace the late Tomičiai. Seducing him from Fenerbahche is a difficult operation, but possible. The Turks are cutting the budget, Luigi Datome has already left, and the club’s president, Ali Koc, is not sure of Vesely, Costa Slouk and Nando De Colo. “
Vesely, who has been competing in Istanbul since 2014, has a two-year contract with Fenerbahche. During the season, the 30-year-old Czech earns about 2.4 million euros.
