On Saturday the first leg of the Hoptrans 3×3 tournament ended in Palanga, after which the teams lined up according to points. It is this ranking that will determine which teams will advance to the fourth round of the tournament and fight for the Champions Cup and cash prizes.
In the first stage, Utena’s Juventus – Uniclub Casino triumphed, defeating Taura of the Kaunas district in the final and receiving 100 credit points. “Taurus” took second place and 80 points, Šakiai “Vytis-Gulbelė” (70 credit points) remained in third place according to the number of wins and points collected.
The fourth place in the first stage was occupied by the team Pasvalys “Milk Stars” (60 points), the fifth by Alytus “Dzūkija” (50 points), the sixth by Panevėžys “Lietkabelis” (45 points).
This was followed by Šiauliai (40 points), Klaipėda Neptūnas (35 points), Prienai CBet (20 points), Kėdainiai Nevėžis (18 points), Legends (16 points) and Vilnius Rytas – Pearls (14 points).
The 8 teams with the most points in the three stages of the selection will advance to the final round.
If teams win by equal points, then the team with the highest average score during all stages of the selection will take the highest position.
After the first round of the Hoptrans 3×3 tournament, the most productive players lined up. At the top of this table is Jonas Mačiulis, who scored a total of 42 points in five games (average 8.4 points) and represented the Tauras team.
In second place, Darius Tarvydas, who competes in the Utena team, with 35 points in five games (average of 5 points).
Ovidijus Varanauskas, who wore the Milk Stars jersey, was third in terms of performance. He scored a total of 30 points in four games (average 7.5).
The second stage of the Hoptrans 3×3 tournament will take place from July 10 to 11 in Palanga.
