Rimantas of Kaunas said that a year ago he informed city administrators that there was a large pipeline in the water at one of the official beaches, which could harm tourists. The man said he had written more than one letter, that he was still receiving responses that the information had been relayed to specialists and that the dangerous Lake Lampedis pipeline would be removed.
Unfortunately, a new bathing season has arrived and there is still a rusty piece of metal in the water. Losing patience for his comments to be taken into account by city officials, the man turned to journalists.
