Properly selected size provides wearing comfort

All compared models fit snugly around the wrist to ensure accurate pulse measurement results. However, when choosing a smart wrist ornament, the most important thing to consider is its comfortable size.

The Huawei Watch GT 2 is the largest of the three, so it is recommended for the larger wrist or for those who like more massive watches. The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 has sleeker shapes and rounded edges for a modern, futuristic look. It is much smaller than the FitBit Versa 2, so it will be comfortable to use for those with slimmer wrists and for those who like lighter accessories.

Choose from the smart features you need

Smart watches offer many functions that make everyday life easier: from managing incoming calls to reading or writing messages. It is true that one of the most important things in sport is the applications that perform the function of a music player.

One of the most popular Spotify apps in Lithuania is compatible with Samsung and FitBit models. Meanwhile, the Huawei model does not support it, but it allows you to upload your own music files. All models can be complemented with other productivity or sports applications. The Samsung model supports them more than other comparable devices.

It’s also worth noting that the displays on all models use Amoled technology, making it easy to see the information on the display, even when exercising outdoors in bright sunlight.

GPS accuracy is relevant to runners

For running enthusiasts or those intensely preparing for the marathon season, the GPS feature that performs accurate calculations is especially important.

During the test, the Huawei Huawei Watch GT 2 proved to be the most accurate, covering the exact same distance when running a 400-meter track. The accuracy of the FitBit distance will depend on the accuracy of the phone’s own GPS module, since this model does not have an integrated GPS.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 has a built-in GPS, but it’s slightly less accurate than the Huawei model, and for more accurate results, the start of the track must be manually marked.

A significant detail is a durable battery

When wearing a smart watch, it’s easy to forget that it needs to be recharged from time to time. Therefore, the battery life between charges becomes a small but very significant trifle.

The experiment showed that the Huawei Watch GT 2 is the most durable: one charge will last up to 2 weeks.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 will be the shortest between charges, up to 2 days. However, this can be explained by the fact that the Samsung watch operating system is more complex, performs more functions, and therefore consumes more energy. The FitBit Versa 2 reaches the golden mean between the two models: one charge is enough for up to 6 days.
