Dainius Kreivys, vice chairman of the Seimas Economic Committee, believes that the committee will revert to this issue in the fall.
On behalf of the committee, he wished the new Minister R. Sinkevičius success in improving the work of the Ministry. D. Kreivys also admitted that he will not make progress in a few months, but difficult work awaits, economic stimulus awaits.
Minister R. Sinkevičius thanked his colleagues for their joint work. “I’m glad we didn’t get mad on the committee, we discussed casually, without going beyond ethical standards.” It is difficult to find an analog in the committee Seimas, which would be similar to the Economic Committee, “said R. Sinkevičius.
On Tuesday morning, it was planned that the Seimas Economic Committee would elect a new president and approve it.
According to the decision of the Seimas Elders Conference, the quota to chair the Seimas Economic Committee belongs to the faction of the Union of Peasants and Greens of Lithuania.
Currently, “peasants” Antanas Baura and Rūta Miliūtė work in the Seimas Economic Committee.
A. Baura Eltai, a “peasant” who works at the Seimas Economic Committee, said he did not want to chair this committee, he would like to see a young MP R. Miliūtė as chairman of the committee.
