According to data from the Department of Fire Protection and Rescue (PAGD), the body of a man was found in Lake Kavalis in the Alytus district around 10 o’clock.
It is reported that the drowning sought since Sunday was found at a distance of about 300 meters from the shore, at a depth of about four meters.
The body was turned over to the police.
According to the PAGD, around 1 p.m., the man was reported to have drowned in a pond in the Kretinga district, Kretingsodis village.
Rescue teams saw the man’s body about 50 feet from shore. He was taken out of the pond.
