J.R., who has not played an official game this season, Smith will once again join forces with LeBron James, who, along with the Los Angeles Lakers, will claim to win the NBA title in Orlando.

ESPN reporter Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Smith and the Lakers agree on the final details of the deal.
The 34-year-old defender will join the California team after a seasonal update at the Walt Disney theme park. He will take Avery Bradley’s place in the Lakers, as the latter declined to participate in the COVID-19 pandemic.
The basketball player briefed the Lakers’ leaders on his decision, citing a desire to protect his family as the main argument. The athlete and his wife Ashley are raising three children.
Only 11 games in 2018-2019. Smith, who played in the Cleveland Cavaliers jersey this season, averaged 6.7 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists per pass.
Along with LeBron, he won the historic Cavaliers NBA Championship in 2016.
