Rokas Giedraitis together with ALBA Berlin celebrates the victory of the decade. Lithuania is represented by the team in the second match of the German championship final in Munich. 75:74 (21:11, 21:24, 25:19, 8:20) defeated MHP Riesen in Ludwigsburg and won the series by 163: 139.
In 19 minutes, Giedraitis scored 3 points (1/2 double, 0/3 trit., 1/2 penalty), 3 assists, 2 rebounds and 1 interception, a block, 3 errors and a personal foul.
ALBA last won the German League in 2007-2008. season. This year’s title will be the ninth in the history of the Berlin Club.
Yellow this season, the Yellows also regained the German Cup four years later, which turned into the jubilee, the tenth on the ALBA trophy rack.
So far, Giedraitis has won the Baltic Basketball League three times at the basketball club (2014-2016), once won the King Mindaugas Cup (2016) and triumphed in the National Basketball League (2014).
The German champion of the past two seasons, Bayern Munich, was eliminated by MHP Riesen in the quarterfinals.
