Pavel Dobrodejus (b.1992), a junior specialist in the Security Management Division of the Vilnius Correctional Center, who has now been secretly observed for half a year, admits that he not only handed over prohibited items to the dangerous offender, but also provided highly secret information about the actions planned by the officers in the prison.

“No, they didn’t pay me for it, it was a unique case,” a former prosecutor worships today. But if that was the case, it is difficult to answer, as the saying goes, it was not caught.

This is the second case brought against Mr. Dobrodej: in March last year, the Šalčininkai court found the man guilty of violating public order, but dropped the criminal case against him and released the defendant from criminal responsibility on bail for a period of one year. . But even before its end, Mr. Dobrodejus, while working in the Vilnius Prison, was again prosecuted for abuse of power. There were only 14 days left until the end of the bond, so it was decided to reopen the process in a case previously examined and resolved.

Valentina Strokinienė, a prosecutor of the Vilnius District Prosecutor’s Office supporting the state prosecution, said in court that P. Dobrodejus On March 27, around 5 pm, in Šalčininkai, Vilniaus St., near the nightclub, he had a conflict with another Šalčininkai employee and hit him twice in the face, leaving him with two teeth. The victim fell to the ground from the blows, and when he soon stood up, he received five more blows to the face and other areas.

Later, while already working in the prison, Mr. Dobrodejus organized Dmitry Kruglikov (b.1983), who was bringing prohibited items into the prison for the intentional murder, and also provided secret information about planned inspections, records, etc. the officers. The officer also contacted the convict’s brother, Denis.

According to the prosecutor, it is suspected that these crimes were committed by the prison supervisor since October 1 of last year. until March 29 of this year, when he was arrested. It was established that on that day P. Dobrodejus met with D. Kruglikov at the prison and handed him a USB key.

Kruglikov has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for intentional murder; he spent the first four years in the harshest prison conditions. Up to seven times convicted, the Šalčininkai is recognized as a dangerous repeat offender. He was convicted by another cold man, who was fatally beaten and crushed by a 56-year-old man. The court determined that on the night of his death, the men were drinking in a cafe in the Šalčininkai district and, before it closed, the murdered person took a half-empty bottle of vodka from the table and intended to go home. . Seeing this, D. Kruglikov and his friend caught up with a suitable man for their parents and began to kick and hit him with their fists. The victim received at least eleven blows and the ambulance doctors were no longer able to help him: the man died after a serious head injury.

P. Dobrodejus, who worked at the Vilnius Correctional Center, did not deny that he had close ties with the convict’s brother; after all, they grew up and live in the same city, but claimed that D. Kruglikov in which allegedly recorded several films were made.

“I don’t know, I gave it to him,” asked P. Dobrodejus, who currently works at Vilnius International Airport, and did not want to explain. He added that he had not received a monetary reward for it.

The now former official also explained that he had also provided information on the searches provided by the officers at the accommodation of the convicts free of charge.

“I can’t explain why I did this, it was a mistake, I’m sorry,” Dobrodejus was not allowed to speak in court, who was not only secretly followed by prison officials but also eavesdropped on their phone conversations. .

The prosecutor P. Dobrodej, who supports the state prosecutor’s office, proposes to impose a fine of 120 MGL (6 thousand euros) and deprive him of the right to work in public service for four years for violation of public order and abuse of official position. It is true that the accused could have faced a greater fine, but he pleaded guilty and regretted it, so the criminal case was processed in an abbreviated manner, in which case the penalty is reduced by one third.

Mr. Bužinskas, who has heard the criminal case, intends to announce how Mr. Dobrodejus’s actions will be assessed in mid-November.
