The new Senior Advisor to the President, J. Karpavičienė, is a Doctor of Humanities and has directed cultural activities at the Palace of the Rulers for over ten years. She is an associate professor in the Department of Ancient and Medieval History of the Faculty of History of the Vilnius University, she has twenty years of experience in scientific and pedagogical activities and international cooperation in the field of science, she is a member of the Museum Council and president from the Lithuanian branch of the International Council.
