The amendments to the articles and the annex to the Code of Administrative Offenses (hereinafter the AN) adopted by the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania stipulate that all cases of administrative offenses are handled in institutions in the first instance, and the courts are become only an appeal. institution.
This specialized division of all AN cases will operate at the Alytus County level. In accordance with their competence, your employees will examine AN cases, prepare comments after receiving complaints about decisions made in the cases, and represent the Alytus County Sheriff’s Office in the examination of appeals in court. The division officials will decide on matters of execution of the sentence, will impose sanctions and administrative sanction measures and will control the execution of the administrative order.
