For the fifth consecutive year, the Romani Culture Festival has been held in Vilnius, an event with a social mission, which aims to show that the Roma community is open to all, committed to common integration, joint activities with the entire community Lithuanian. , that gypsies want and can participate in social life.

The Gypsy festival is traditionally celebrated to commemorate International Gypsy Day on April 8. Unfortunately, for the second year in a row, the global coronavirus pandemic is regulating the plans, so the event had to be postponed from spring to fall. In this way, the festival had the opportunity to complement the impressive Vilnius People’s Fair.

“In 2021, the Festival will take place in three stages: on September 17, we will hold a conference at the Seimas, on Sunday September 19, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., we will march in a colorful musical and fun procession from Rotušės to . to Katedros a., we will join the Fair of Nations, Avda.
