IT specialist Marijus Kilmanas wrote about it and shared it with Delfi’s readers.
“I see the race has started, who can come up with a smarter way to save the Passport of Opportunity for quick use, I want to ignore all the tricks and show what the creators of gpasas.lt had planned not to invent the bike for 5th time (especially when you need to register additional devices whose reliability is not guaranteed).
1. Open Chrome on your phone (if you don’t have it, the following steps should work similarly in other browsers, but the names won’t match 1: 1)
2. Go to https://gpasas.lt (LT, not IT, be careful with all kinds of kugelis)
3. You authenticate through a bank, electronic signature or otherwise, withdraw your GPass
4. When you see your GPaso QR code, press the browser menu button (those three dots next to the website address)
5. Pasirenkate “Add to home screen” arba “Install application”
6. Voila – You have Gpas launched on your screen with one click.
Kilman shared a way to conveniently store passport options on the phone.
7. Life Hack: If you move that icon to the bottom bar, it will always be available, no matter how many different screens your device is organized.
And all of this was provided by the creators of gpasas.lt – no screenshot required, no additional apps, smaps, wallets or PDF converters required. Take it and use it as intended.
UPDATE: For apples -> https://mobilesyrup.com/…/how-install-progressive-web…/> Install a PWA on iOS (says doing this will require a new authentication) “, – wrote M Kilman.
Save to phone unlock screen
A few weeks ago, Valdas Otsing, communication manager at Lidl, shared a simple but great trick on how to use the passport of opportunity on your phone.
Valdas Stop shared a simple but ingenious idea of how to conveniently use the options on the phone.

“I had downloaded my passport of opportunity to the phone and I took a photo, but so far I have hardly needed it. Yesterday my family and I went to lunch and the waitress of the restaurant asked for a passport of opportunity. I realized that her search in the phone’s photo gallery was pretty fiddly because I had to go through dozens of photos for the September 1 holiday. I finally found that opportunity passport photo and unpacked it to the waiters, but before she activated the verification app , my phone got locked.
I looked at the unlock screen and thought, “If the QR code was here, you wouldn’t have to search for anything and save a lot of time!”
He also shared this discovery on Facebook, where thanks for the great idea already flow below the post.
“Experience shows that the fastest way to display your passport is to put it on a lock screen. It will be useful,” wrote V. Stop.
Some more ways
Martynas Vrubliauskas from Bitė Profas also explained where to keep the opportunity passport: “Initially, most of them just stored the QR code as a screenshot in the photo galleries on their phones. However, this can be quite inconvenient as the photo is easily lost among other things. On iPhone phones, you can save the feature passport in the Wallet app on your phone. First download the Opportunity Passport PDF, then open https://www.gpasas.mobi/ in your browser and upload it.
To use it, double tap the Home button on the locked screen to open Wallet. If you are using an iPhone X or later, just double click the button on the right side. Android phone users can also save their passport by email. in the wallet. This will require downloading the WalletPasses app (Android) and uploading the PDF file. Then open the gadget and click “Import permissions”.
