Prienai “Labas GAS” team – in addition to the coaching staff. Deividas Rinkevičius, an experienced physical training specialist, joins the team.
A 41-year-old kaunas will serve as the club’s fitness coach-consultant.
For the last two seasons, Rinkevičius has worked for the Perm Parma team competing in the VTB United League, where he worked alongside Kazys Maksvytis. Along with Kazys Maksvytis, the fitness coach also worked for the 1992 “Golden Generation” team.
In the 2014-2019 seasons, Rinkevičius worked at the Zenit Club in Saint Petersburg. During this period, the stuntman won three VTB United League bronze medals.
Prior to that, Rinkevičius worked as a physical training coach for the Lubercai Triumph (2010-2014), Kaunas Žalgiris doubles (2008-2010), Moscow Spartak (2006-2008) and the Lithuanian Women’s Team (2006-2007).
The Prienai team will be led by Marius Leonavičius next season, assisted by Vidas Ginevičius. Physical trainer Lukas Dzimidas and experienced Dr. Robertas Narkus, who worked on the team and last season, also remain at headquarters.
