The camp administration and the Interior Ministry assured that the situation in Rūdninkai is calm and controlled, and that there were no incidents.
People gathered in protest to hold up signs with signs such as “Freedom” or “Cold is a murderer.” According to the Ministry of the Interior, the participants of the rally could be counted by dozens, you can see the mass of the concentration.

Although migrants used to complain about the housing conditions, this time it is a more peaceful political protest, a rally with demands, a representative of the Interior Ministry told tv3.lt.
According to the Interior Ministry, residents of the Rūdninkai camp are now receiving hot food and, some time ago, warm clothing was provided in cooperation with non-governmental organizations. So the rallies did not protest the living conditions.
No additional security forces were needed at the camp as there were no incidents. The camp located at the Rūdninkai landfill continues to be guarded by officials from the Public Security Service.
