According to Vaida, the couple moved out of the apartment in good faith after consulting with the landlord. The girl says that the biggest laugh is what the owner wrote in the letter: “He wrote that he found the house tidy when he arrived. We agreed on everything very well, the owner said he understood that the contract had ended, that we were not local. “
The owner has officially deducted the deposit from the bills and Vaida says he finds it very strange because it is hard to see why the owner did not ask for compensation if things were going so bad.

A threatening letter has been received
The letter I received, registered with a friend of Vaida, said: “Within a reasonable period of 10 days, you have to pay taxes and 900 euros.” Vaida says it is difficult to understand where the owner got the various sums from.
“There is only one page that lists the amounts, but there are no invoices. We were in shock. When he left, he told us that if there was anything left unpaid, he would send us an invoice. We do not receive any invoice, only a letter from where I know the fictitious amounts.
By then we had already called a lawyer and asked him what to do. They advised us to simply write in their letter officially, by email, to name all the conditions, to ask for invoices, ”says the girl.
The process is still ongoing
Vaida says it’s not sure if someone rented the apartment against him because the landlord said he repaired it himself. But the strangest thing is that even though the couple moved in May, they still received bills in July, even though the same host had already written that the couple no longer lived there:
“So someone lives in the apartment because where do we get our water and electricity bills?”
The interlocutor says that when he received the letter, he tried to call the man, but he did not answer or call again.

The girl says that the lawyer described the situation as a desire to earn money: “At first, the lawyer reassured us, he said that here the old man probably wants to push us in some way, scare us, that we will only pay for everything.
But it goes further. A friend called the court, who said we need to receive a certified letter with a summons because the landlord filed a lawsuit. We are preparing ourselves for that now, talking to lawyers, waiting for the court ”.
