Saturday in Kaunas is marked by a double explosion. While the motorcycles of the Kaunas 2021 Bike Show roared in the central streets, the tires on the S. Darius and S. Girėnas aerodromes were carved by the participants of the Aviation Festival.
Double power
Car drivers trying to get to the Aleksotas airfield at noon on Saturday were sincerely jealous of the gliders and pilots. The skies were the only place to do without the congestion. Not only the European avenue. The latter, fused into a column, circled the main streets of the city and then flew towards the airfield area on the runway. The wheels were surrounded by curious curtains. The men asked the motorcyclists about the origin of the steel horses, their power and the distances traveled. The children were happy to pose for motorcycles, and after obtaining the consent of the cyclists, they climbed onto the seats of the bicycle vehicles. The women took a slightly more neutral position: they observed beautiful motorcycles and fit owners with their photos and photographed them from a distance.

Pleasant shopping
Traditionally, you cannot do without small merchants. Some of them offered the usual cozy mass parties: sweets, tea, toys. Others brought a more interesting assortment to the celebration: leather belts, rings, and shirts with skulls or embroidered emblems. From miniatures in the palm of your hand to giants for tens of euros.
These latter things attracted not only women who were willing to spend a bit of the festive year. A line of bearded men ran into the store with motorcycle attributes. Some measured huge rings, twisted chains around their wrists, and chose other details that were important to their image.

Activities for everyone
Those who cared about less worldly and profitable things looked up. The sky was carved here by the participants of the aerobatic group ANBO and probably the most titled ashtray of the country’s tires, the legendary aerial acrobat Jurgis Kairys. The pilot’s performance aroused special feelings in some viewers.

Kairys organized a solo performance with music for the audience of the festival Aviation and the 22nd Bike Show Kaunas 2021, and at the end of the festival promised to donate a program with pyrotechnics.
