In response to the response on the asphalting of the Plungė – Skuodas road, he assured that he had received a request from the municipality about the state of this road.
“The municipality of the Skuodas district has asked to repair the 8-kilometer stretch of the highway, and the funds have been allocated 30 kilometers elsewhere,” said V. Andrejevas.

According to him, the Highway Administration asked the Ministry of Transport and Communications to “correct the error”, that is, to allocate funds for road repairs in accordance with the description approved by the Government.

When asked if the ministry will try to redistribute funds for road paving, J.Narkevičius did not give a clear answer.

So perhaps the director should be concerned about delays in various programs,” said the Minister of Transport, adding that the Highway Administration is paving the roads in the wrong order.
“I think the esteemed manager should take care and manage his work in such a way that the control system is organized and people have to repair the roads as soon as possible,” said J.Narkevičius, noting that the behavior of the head of the Highway Directorate.

V. Andrejev previously indicated to BNS that none of the roads planned to be paved meets the criteria established by the Minister himself; none of them is ready, therefore, the Directorate does not intend to sign contracts and implement projects.
Furthermore, according to V. Andrejev, the two roads to which the Minister has allocated funds, in Turgeliai and Dainava, are not the worst in Lithuania in terms of the condition of the pavement. The first is at 155 on the priority list and the second at 224.
