MO signed a long-term support agreement with one of the largest real estate developers (RE) in Lithuania: REWO. Building and nurturing communities offering cultural experiences is one of the most important objectives of the MO Museum and of the new partner.

Focus on communities

According to Milda Ivanauskienė, director of the MO Museum, bringing together and nurturing communities is one of the MO Museum’s goals. He is pleased that private companies are also increasingly interested in these skills.

“MO is not just a building on Pylimo Street. We travel both physically and virtually to different places and gather communities. Enriching leisure with culture in an emotionally difficult time is especially important. I think that thanks to the new partnership, even more people will discover art in new spaces. This support will also contribute to the sustainability of MO, which is especially important for the cultural sector in the conditions of a pandemic ”, says M. Ivanauskienė.

According to REWO CEO Edvinas Malevskis, the well-being of people seeking modern real estate doesn’t just depend on the buildings. Therefore, the partnership with the leading modern art museum in Lithuania is determined by the intentions of patronage and cooperation.

“The sense of aesthetics is close to us. Architecture, as one of the fields of art, is in our focus every day. We have seen many times how important the aesthetic expression of the surrounding environment is for each person. We come not only to support the culture of art in a delicate moment. We are committed to an ongoing creative process, the benefits of which will be felt primarily by current and future buyers of the homes we are building, our community, ”says E. Malevskis.

More art in public spaces

According to the head of the MO Museum, the integration of art in public spaces is another opportunity to bring art closer to people: not only in the museum, but also in the street, near the house, in squares, in areas project commons.

The MO team and art professionals will also advise on the design of public spaces: how to create and develop an environment using and integrating art.

A different approach to the development of real estate projects

According to E. Malevskis, modern real estate projects have increasing expectations, including sustainability, benefits to society, aesthetic, emotional and cultural satisfaction.

“In the context of these new trends, art and culture in real estate development are acquiring new meanings and perspectives. We are sure that our clients will live in the context of modern art in one way or another, and this is the most meaningful thing we can give to a modern citizen in a hurry, ”says E. Malevskis.
