Raseiniškis sold foreign bulldogs, a cat and received money from half a bull – he drank

The Raseiniai court awarded the defendants public works for the sale of the neighbor’s five animals, reported the assistant to the president of the Šiauliai District Court for Media and Public Relations.

The criminal order was issued at the Raseiniai Palace of the Šiauliai District Court.

A male Bengal cat worth 500 euros was given to someone for 20 euros, even though his carry bag alone cost 48 euros.

It is proven that the defendant in 2021. February 27 wasted the property that had been entrusted to him. The man sold the animals as his own when the victim requested temporary custody of the animals: he sold four French Bulldogs worth € 2,400 and a Bengal cat worth € 500 with a carrying bag (worth € 48).

In total, the defendant VS squandered other people’s assets for 2,948 euros. However, VS voluntarily agreed to repair the damage within one year.

The mitigation of the accused is that he confessed and sincerely regrets. Aggravating circumstance: the crime was committed under the influence of alcohol and this influenced the commission of the crime. As the criminal case is terminated by criminal court order and the person pleads guilty, the sentence imposed is reduced by one third.

The defendant says that he now understands that he could not sell the animals.

VS, having received money for the animals, drank and no longer has them. The man claimed to know the victim well and worked for him in various agricultural jobs.

2021 in late February, the victim asked to temporarily leave her dogs at her home.

The man said the French Bulldog with her three newborn puppies was kept in the home and the victim brought the other dogs to the farm. The woman left food for the animals. Later, a cat, which was made of tiger skin, was brought in to care for him.

The man was in town, drunk, when he was notified by telephone of the people who had come to his house. There were policemen and how he understood animal rescuers. He then sold four dogs to animal rescuers.

The woman left the animals with food, asked them to take care of them.

The man signed a contract with the buyers. They may have paid you € 250. He also wanted to sell a cat, but initially did not find it, but later he sold a cat for 20 euros. Who sold it – does not remember.

The defendant, in disagreement with the sentence imposed by the court or its amount, under other conditions, has the right to submit a request to the Raseiniai Chamber of the Šiauliai District Court for a judicial hearing within 14 days after receipt of the document. An effective criminal court order is not subject to appeal.
